" As
a physician I feel it is my responsibility to educate and
encourage each of my patients to take an active role in their health andwell
being. I have a natural interest in women's health which plays a huge role in
family practice."
Health
care comes naturally to Dr. Ann-Marie Magre. As an athlete
and competitive basketball player, she always paid attention
to physical health. While attending William Jewell College
in Liberty, Missouri, Magre made decisions that would map
out the rest of her life. She decided to focus her interest
in health and become a physician. It was in college that
she met her husband, Nathanael. She completed her medical
degree at the University of Arkansas School of Medicine
in Little Rock and accepted a residency position at the
Area Health Education Center in Fayetteville. She and her
husband quickly fell in love with Northwest Arkansas.
Originally
from Wynne, Arkansas, Magre and her husband decided to
raise their family in Northwest Arkansas. Her husband
loves teaching at Fayetteville High School. The Magres
enjoy the Northwest Arkansas communtiy and the abounding
opportunities it offers their family.
Her two children, Matthew and Lauren, keep her busy in
her free time. She and her family are avid sports fans
and don’t miss many Razorback or St. Louis Cardinal
games.
