Candace is a certified physician assistant and works with physicians at FirstCare South to provide quality timely care to patients. In addition, Candace is a valuable part of our Partnership of Care team, providing medical care to the University of Arkansas athletes.
Candace is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She completed her master’s of science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) at Bethel College where she was Elected into Pi-Alpha the national honor society for physician assistants in 2005. Candace also has a Master of Education from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, from Appalachian State University. Prior to becoming a PA, she worked as an athletic trainer at Arizona State University, University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. When she isn’t seeing patients, Candace enjoys cooking, cheering on the Razorbacks and spending time with her husband Brae and son Riggs.
