Dr. Blankers has been caring for patients at FirstCare West since August of 2002. Before attending medical school at UAMS, he was an industrial engineer in Rogers. Dr. Blankers completed his residency training at AHEC Northwest in Fayetteville. He is board certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Blankers serves on the Medical Executive Committee and the Medical Education Committee at Washington Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Blankers and his wife, Kendra have been married for 18 years. They have three children, Gerrit, Cole, and Lillie. Dr. Blankers enjoys cheering for the Razorbacks, traveling, playing basketball, running, and spending time with his family.
